Laid out largely by Thomas Cubitt in the 1820s and 1830s, Belgravia remains the most architecturally composed neighbourhood in London: long terraces of white stucco, great garden squares and, behind them, cobbled mews.

Houses and apartments

The grand houses of Belgrave Square and Eaton Square have, over the decades, been both divided into apartments and restored as single homes. Both command real premiums when they are right — and both are regularly sold without ever being advertised.

The quiet market

Belgravia is a small, discreet world. Owners here tend to value privacy above exposure, and many would rather not see their home on a portal at all. That makes careful, personal introduction especially well suited to it.

Who it suits

Purchasers who want an address of permanence and calm, a few minutes from Knightsbridge, Sloane Square and Victoria.
